SUBJECT: AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF NPC ADVISORY NO. 2020-01: PROTOCOLS FOR THE PUBLICATION OF DECISIONS, RESOLUTIONS AND ORDERS ON THE NPC WEBSITE
SECTION 1. Scope. These guidelines shall amend certain provisions of NPC Advisory No. 2020-01.
SECTION 2. Amendments. Section 1 (b) of Advisory 2020-01 shall be amended to read as follows:
“SECTION 1. Cases for Publication. XXX
b) The following cases shall not be appropriate for publication on the NPC the website:
- i. Cases decided on the basis of compromise agreements, mediated settlement agreements and/or quitclaims as these are not decided on the basis of merit and therefore lack teaching value for the public.
- ii. Interlocutory Decisions, Orders, and Resolutions that do not dispose the case or breach notification with finality.”
SECTION 3. Repealing clause. Decisions, Orders and Resolutions that may be subject of a Motion for Reconsideration may nevertheless be published on the NPC website, subject to the protocols set by Section 2 of Advisory 2020-01. Section 1 (b)(iii) of Advisory 2020-01 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. Effectivity. This guideline shall be effective immediately upon the approval of the Commission.
